Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from the app itself:

1. Open the mahallify app and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
3. Tap the settings icon, then scroll to Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account is removed immediately. You'll be signed out automatically.

Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app — for example, you've already uninstalled it or are locked out of your sign-in email — email us and we will delete your account for you:

Please send the request from the email address linked to your mahallify account, or include the phone number / Telegram username you signed in with so we can identify the right account. We respond and complete deletions within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account we permanently remove the following from our systems within 30 days:

• Your profile (name, photo, location, language preference, contact info)
• Your sign-in identifiers (email, phone number, Google account email, Telegram user ID and username)
• Your listings (jobs, housing, businesses, events, community offers)
• Photos you uploaded to your profile or listings
• Your direct messages and chat history
• Your bookmarks and saved items
• Your push notification token and notification history

What we keep

We may retain a minimal record of the following for the limited purposes listed:

• Anonymized analytics (e.g. total listing counts, aggregate usage statistics) that cannot be used to identify you — kept indefinitely.
• Records required by law (e.g. a record that an account associated with a particular email was deleted) — kept only as long as legally required.
• Abuse / safety records — if your account was banned for violating our community standards, we may retain a record of the ban (the associated identifier and reason) to prevent ban evasion.
